Panama Travel Guide

We had a wonderful, flawless trip to Panama, arranged by Zicasso's tour company.

This was my third time using Zicasso and, as expected, my experience was of the highest quality. Our agent was fantastic. He listened to what we wanted and arranged it for us. He had excellent suggestions and used only guides and drivers who were professional, friendly, well-versed in the area and history, on time, and fun to be with. Our hotels were all first class, our domestic flights were well thought out, and our activities were adventures we will always remember. 

But the real test of a high-end, trustworthy agency is when something does go wrong and they are there for you. We booked all of our hotels and paid in full through our agency well in advance. Thirty minutes before we were due to arrive at one of the hotels (after a three-and-a-half-hour car ride and a 30-minute water taxi), we were waiting for the boat from the hotel to arrive for us and found out the hotel would not be accepting guests. Our agency had a new hotel for us, even nicer than the original hotel, within 20 minutes. They arranged for our transportation and rearranged all of our other activities. This new hotel was more expensive than ours and our agency automatically covered the cost, saying it was their responsibility. These are the type of agencies Zicasso hooks you up with. I totally recommend using Zicasso for all of your travel adventures.

Our trip with Zicasso's travel company was great. The travel specialist helped us get it all planned and then did a great job communicating before the trip and during to address any questions or concerns we had! We enjoyed all of our many experiences and the different places we visited. All of us had a wonderful time!

Zicasso's travel agency did an incredible job planning our trip to Panama. I think the biggest plus in using a travel company as opposed to designing the trip myself was the help in designing the trip, as well as the seamless transportation to and from activities/destinations. 

Furthermore, the private behind-the-scenes tour they chose for the Panama Canal was an excellent choice, as we greatly enjoyed our time there and would not have if we'd been stuck in the long line and behind the fence like the majority of tourists there. The travel agent did an amazing job in designing the tour and supporting us along the way.

We had a fine time. The hotels were great and the guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and generous. The flow of places and events went well. Zicasso's travel agent was easy to work with. She understood what we were seeking and was quickly responsive with ready, pleasing alternatives to some initial proposals.

Our agent listened to our preferences and accommodated them in every detail, starting with our selection of locales: Panama City, Boquete, and Bocas del Torre. 

We were well taken care of at every turn, starting with being met at the gate and escorted through customs. We had private tours for every activity, with excellent guides and drivers. Our hotels were all lovely and special. Our agent surprised us with special extras several times. I would highly recommend this tour company.
