I had a fabulous trip through New Zealand's North and South Islands. It was exactly what I had hoped for and more. The Zicasso travel agent created a fabulous itinerary, with the right mix of group tours, self-driving, and small excursions. The guides were all locals who knew the areas and were knowledgeable and entertaining. I was completely spoiled by all the excellent drivers who shuttled me to and from airports, bus and train stations. It was lovely not to have to figure any of that out and so relaxing not to rush around in a strange city trying to figure out transportation and timing. Their app was great and I always knew what was next up and who to contact if I had any issues.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. It was apparent  the Zicasso trip planner really listened to our interests and style of travel, and planned activities and lodging accordingly. We really appreciated the occasional real-time updates we received from her during the trip, which made us feel she was continuing to oversee our trip. That sort of attention felt very personal and attentive. I would highly recommend our agent and the travel agency to anyone looking to plan a trip "Down Under."

Our Zicasso tour operator and her team were top-notch, from our first conversation through the end of our Australia/New Zealand journey. We could not have asked for a better team. They listened intently to our desires for a "bucket-list" trip that favored meeting locals and off-the-beaten-path locations and experiences, rather than typical tourist locations. Mission accomplished.

Based on our early conversations, she delicately guided us away from a few locations that were on our original destination list in favor of deeper experiences (and more time) in other locations. I think others may have simply put together an itinerary with all the destinations the customer listed without regard to weather, the amount of time on planes, and other factors. What we got with this company was more time in key locations where we could immerse ourselves in the local communities and meet the many friendly and special people we encountered.

Lastly, this travel company knows this region deeply. They know the best tour companies and the best people at those companies, creating a truly exceptional experience.

Our March 2024 trip (three weeks) was spectacular, with time in Melbourne, Sydney, and Port Lincoln, as well as Queenstown and Nelson in New Zealand. One of the things the travel company did that made the trip spectacular was this: at each stop, we had a day or two of structured activities and a day or two on our own. That allowed us to get an understanding of the location before we ventured out on our own. I would repeat that on any future trip.

It was our first journey to the region and, over a month later, we are still telling our friends about our special adventures and referring them to this company should they want a truly special experience in Australia and/or New Zealand.

We loved our New Zealand/Australia travel specialist Jo! Our original trip in March 2020 was delayed because of Covid, but Jo kept us updated and then rescheduled our trip. Her suggestions about what to see and do fit in perfectly with what we wanted out of our trip. Taking the trip and all we saw and did was even better than what the terrific itinerary showed. Just a truly awesome trip in every respect!

Our Zicasso agent was amazing! From the beginning to the very end, she helped me plan the perfect honeymoon, whether it was finding where to go, finding the flights, and finding the best activities. She has experience and knows what she is talking about, so when she makes a recommendation, 9/10 you should listen. She recommended great restaurants and activities, and was able to provide transfers wherever I needed to go. My wife and I felt safe and comfortable when traveling the streets of Mo’orea and Tahiti.

Overall, our travel agency was great and our agent was amazing to work with. We missed our first flight and she helped me find a new one. I highly recommend working with them for any travel experience. You will not regret it! I will definitely be planning my next adventure with her.

Zicasso’s tour company did a wonderful job of scheduling activities we enjoy. All of the guides were very prompt in picking us up, quite knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. The accommodations were very nice and conveniently located to various points of interest. The travel rep we dealt with did a great job setting up our flights and providing us with links to documents we had to complete prior to entry into NZ.

Our travel specialist with the company was truly so helpful and accommodating. She changed the itinerary for us multiple times prior to the trip to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Our travel specialist was available to talk to through email and on the phone which made communication really easy. When we arrived in Auckland, our travel specialist met us at the airport, which I have never had a travel agent do before. She made sure all of our flights had gone smoothly, ensured that our travel plans for the next two weeks were corrects, and spent time talking with us about what to expect in New Zealand. All of our transportation for the two weeks was set up for us which was so nice to not have to worry about while traveling. We were set up in great hotels/apartments through out the stay that were very accommodating.
