This was a wonderful trip that surpassed our expectations. My granddaughter chose this as her college graduation trip from me. I am Slovenian and we were able to see where my mother lived as a young child before immigrating to the USA, and where my grandmother lived before marriage. It is a beautiful country.

Our guides were excellent, as were our drivers. They went above and beyond to impart history and cultural information, and were so enthused to show us as much as possible. We couldn't be more pleased with this memorable trip and all the aid we received from Zicasso's travel agent, who was always pleasant and ready to help or answer any questions. I highly recommend the whole team.

Before our trip, Zicasso's travel specialist assured us we would have an amazing, worry-free trip through Slovenia and Croatia. We most certainly did!!

She had us in beautiful, centrally located hotels, on exciting daily excursions with knowledgeable tour guides, and even on a private speedboat ride!! Our journey included historic sites, wonderful museums, and hikes through caverns, waterfalls, and fortresses!!

We had the most amazing time on this trip, largely because Zicasso’s tour planner did such an awesome job planning it with us. She truly listened to the things we enjoy doing, seeing, and learning, and she hooked us up with really exceptional guides, drivers, and experiences that were exactly what we were looking for. Everything ran so smoothly; we could just relax and simply enjoy this vacation, even though it was quite complicated, with three hotels and three countries, and multiple excursions in nine days/eight nights.  

Even when something unexpected happened (bad weather forced a boat excursion cancellation), she was immediately ready with a wonderful alternative activity that wound up being one of our favorites. She took the time to really understand us and what would make the best possible trip for us, and she was flexible, so likable, and easy to work with! I have never enjoyed planning vacations, but she made it really fun, and the end product was the favorite trip ever for all of our seven-person group, from the 20-somethings to the 60-somethings. Exploring the breathtaking Postojna Cave and soaring above Lake Bohinj on the Vogel Cable Car were just a couple of the many highlights he helped make happen.

The local city guides were also fantastic, bringing each location to life with engaging stories and a perfect blend of fun activities and fascinating insights. From stunning wineries and delicious culinary tastings to chocolate making, truffle hunting, ancient arenas, and breathtaking historical sites, every day was a delightful discovery.
