We had a first-ever mother-daughter trip and are so grateful we went with Zicasso's tour operator. Throughout our trip, locals would ask about where we'd been and our plans. My husband and I had a great time on our trip to the northeast Adriatic Coast of Italy. We have very specific tastes as far as where we like to stay and the private tours we like to have during the trip. Zicasso's travel company did a great job, giving us fantastic hotels, and all of our tour guides were top-notch.

The trip was absolutely beautiful and well planned. Zicasso's travel expert did a fantastic job and she was on top of everything. She texted me every night with the next day's plans. The only negative aspect of the trip was that the Sorrento hotel had no air conditioning. The rooms and lobby were extremely hot, hovering around 80° day and night.

Zicasso's trip planner was there for us from the planning stage of our trip until the completion of our journey. She communicated with us while in France to update us on any changes and to generally check in with us to make sure that we were well. She and her team were great to work with and made our trip to France truly memorable!

Our travel guide was excellent. Our hotels were perfect and, from the beginning, he accommodated all of my requests, including my need for gluten-free foods. And during the trip, when my daughter got sick, he arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel.

The Zicasso tour operator's team did a fantastic job planning our trip to Switzerland. They covered every detail and provided vouchers for every activity, hotel, gondola ride, etc. Not only that, but they even selected specific rooms in hotels. These were corner rooms with the best views, something that would have been very hard for me to do on my own. I can't recommend this team enough for your next trip to this beautiful country.

We were headed to a friend’s wedding on Paros and trying to plan the logistics ourselves quickly became overwhelming; figuring out how to get there, what to do, and where to stay felt impossible. That’s when my husband found this company and, from the very first interaction, we knew we were in good hands. They took the time to really get to know us, what we enjoy, our travel style, our budget, and how hands-on we wanted them to be.

Rome was the cherry on top of a journey we will never forget.

It was a fantastic trip! Zicasso's travel specialist provided guidance on visiting not just Rio de Janeiro, but Paraty, a fishing village four hours away, and it turned out to be the highlight of the trip.

My husband and I had utilized the services of Zicasso for prior journeys to Italy, Southeast Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. For our recent trip to Matera and Puglia, I requested an agency located in Italy that specializes in travel to Italy. We selected a company that was on a magazine’s A-list of travel advisors.

Our travel consultant listened to and respected my requests for certain activities (private food, historical and boat tours, wine tastings, cheese making) and types of accommodations (properties that offered a shaded area to relax and read). She also emailed answers to my numerous detail-oriented questions (the curse of having personally worked as a tour guide). She sent a lovely gift to our first hotel and called halfway through our vacation to check in with us. Communication via text with WhatsApp was convenient and used frequently. Most importantly, when we had a problem with one of our accommodations, she followed up (even after our trip had ended) and graciously offered some compensation.

We could not have had a better experience using Zicasso's travel agency on our recent trip to Greece. If I could give them 10 stars, that is what they deserve!

The trip to Kenya and Tanzania was absolutely amazing! The itinerary chosen for us was perfect and checked off all the things I wanted to accomplish on our first safari. Our trip to Paris and the South of France was amazing! We were extremely pleased with our itinerary, visiting the various museums and attractions throughout the trip.

It was unfortunate that France was experiencing a heatwave, but of course, one never knows what Mother Nature has in store for us. We walked the cobblestone streets, keeping well hydrated and managing as best we could. It was a challenge when the temps reached 100 degrees F for several days, but we survived!

The hotel accommodations were lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Zicasso is an exceptional, professional travel company and we were extremely satisfied with everything.

This was a very well-organized trip and our Zicasso trip planner responded immediately anytime I had a question or concern. We went to three beautiful and different Greek islands, followed by a wonderful experience in the Greek mountains.

We especially enjoyed Metsovo, where we not only got to do our planned activity of truffle hunting, but got to see more of what it is like to live in Greece by just crossing paths with people along the way. We saw a man tending to his bee hives and he happily showed us the honeycombs and his work. We stopped to watch a shepherd bring his sheep along the road to a new pasture and enjoyed walking through the quieter villages, enjoying local coffee, food, and wine.

All of our drivers arrived on time and ready for us, and all were extremely helpful in sharing information about the local areas. It was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend this tour operator to anyone looking to organize a trip in Greece!

We just got back from an amazing two-week vacation with our children and our eight-year-old granddaughter. We traveled in clean and well-maintained Mercedes vans, with well-dressed and personable drivers. The hotels we stayed at ranged from good to very good. If I were to plan this again, I might choose a different location in Rome; the area was a bit congested and the hotel could use some upgrades, but it was conveniently situated.

The wine tastings were enjoyable and dinner at the vineyard was truly magical! Our standout activities were the cooking classes in Florence and Rome. The chefs were professional and imparted a lot of knowledge, giving us valuable skills to take home.

The highlight of our trip was definitely the private boat charter in Capri! We had a perfect day on a brand-new yacht, with an experienced captain and crew who took us to hidden caves away from the crowds, allowing us to swim in stunning locations. It was an absolutely fantastic trip!

We had a wonderful time in Tanzania. Zicasso's travel expert and her support staff provided all the necessary information we needed. Our driver in Tanzania was friendly and well informed.

My family of six, ages 12 to 72, visited Kenya for an extraordinary 10-day trip in June 2025. Zicasso put us in touch with our travel company, which provided an itinerary and quote after interviewing us. We live in Indiana, and it was easy to conduct business with them via the internet and phone. Every one of us had a wonderful time.

We stayed at three locations in luxury tented camps. The accommodations were great and we enjoyed the friendly staff and managers. The meals at all three camps were creative and delicious. All the transfers were professionally done and on time.

We did not expect to see so many animals and get so close. What really made the trip great were the outstanding guides. They were tremendous in knowledge and service. I highly recommend using our travel company and considering the camps we stayed at.

We have been on many vacations before, but nothing comes close to the amazing itinerary provided to us by Zicasso's travel company. The experience was truly world-class and we did things we didn't believe we could do. I would give this vacation 10 stars if it were possible.

Having said that, I would recommend a couple of small items: For guided tours, make clearer which ones are not guided and provide a rough timeline within the day so we know what to expect. Neither of these is a deal-breaker, but would take our trip from 10 out of 5 stars to 12 out of 5 stars.

They also provided amazing communication. I absolutely will refer them to others.

We had a great trip to Thailand with our Zicasso trip planner. They set us up with a very helpful guide in Bangkok, who made it easy from the time we stepped off the plane, through all the temples, activities, night markets, tuk-tuks, and boats. 

Our hotel in Bangkok was great, with nice views and a nice breakfast buffet. We took the free hotel ferry to the shopping mall and it was a lot of fun. 

Our resort in Koh Samui was incredible. It had a great beach and pool. The elephant sanctuary and the cooking class were highlights. We would probably pass on Pig Island next time as it was very dirty and we saw pigs getting attacked.

Overall, we had a great time and the tour guide took care of us completely, from start to finish.

We took two of our grandchildren on the trip to Greece and it was memorable for all. Our Kilkenny guide went out of his way to get us as close to the Rock of Cashel. He also had so much information as we traveled. All these tour guides/drivers were so good. Our travel specialist did such a fantastic job of choosing this guides!!

Our trip was fantastic. Zicasso's travel specialist and the team at her company met with us and mapped out a travel plan that met our family's desires and helped us craft a trip for us and our two children (ages 13 and six).

Our trip exceeded our expectations in every way.

This was the first part of a trip to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It included our children and grandchildren aged 15, 14, and 10; nine of us in total for eight days all over Ireland in an 11-person van. It was memorable beyond words. It was planned terrifically by Zicasso's travel company, with one exception, and our driver/guide was exceptional. We appreciated his knowledge, humor, and flexibility.

The tours and activities were excellent. We especially liked the Jeanie Johnston famine ship tour, the EPIC museum, the Book of Kells, the sheep dog tour, feeding a baby lamb, the falcon demonstration, and the many historic sites we saw.

Our hotel in Dublin, the hotel in Cork, and most especially the hotel in County Clare were fantastic and well worth the cost. The hotel in Kerry was good as well, but unless you are determined to be in downtown Galway, do not go to the one near Eyre Square. We should have planned to stay an extra day at the hotel/castle and drive into Galway. That was the only planning mistake. There is no way that hotel deserves a four-star rating; two-and-a-half for me.

We are now on the second part of the trip to Northern Ireland without the family, just my husband and I, and except for the rainy day that cancelled a planned boat trip, so far so good. We also have an excellent driver/guide.

Through no fault of Zicasso's tour company, we were not able to do the Jordan portion of our trip due to the outbreak of hostilities between Israel, Iran, and then the US. When learning Jordanian airspace was closed, the company jumped into action to provide us with immediate alternatives to the Jordan portion of the trip, including a full refund for that portion if so desired. But because they had done such a fabulous job on the Egypt portion of the trip, we decided to extend our Egypt trip and spend several days in Alexandria and out in the desert at an oasis.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about the job Zicasso's travel company did for us. We received first-class service, travel, and accommodations, with help, from the moment we deplaned in Cairo until we went back to the airport to leave Egypt 15 days later.

My wife and I travel each summer to Europe and beyond, and most often do our trips entirely on our own. The entire nine days of travel from Slovenia to Montenegro were seamless as far as being picked up at the arrival airport and departure as planned. Transportaion was on schedule, which was important to me in a foreign country and eliminated any stress. Each private guide and/or driver throughout our trip was courteous and spoke English, which avoided any misunderstanding about all the wonderful sites we saw.

Lake Bled was absolutely wonderful. The guide parked the van at this family home four blocks from the lake and introduced us to his mother and sister, who welcomed us, and we saw how they lived in this beautiful village. The walk of four blocks to the lake also gave us the opportunity to see more of this quaint place to live. Since the lake does not allow power boats, we and about 20 other people were rowed to the island, where an ancient church was located. We found out that this family, in the past, were the caretakers of the island and our tour guide had to row himself to the shore to go to school and, in the winter, skate to school every day.

Next, we were driven to the castle on top of a small mountain, which had a perfect, 360-degree view of the area. Beautiful!

The next day we went to Plitvice Lakes National Park, with too many waterfalls to count and water that looked as crystal clear as any natural water I have ever seen. The four-kilometer walk upstream was nothing like I've ever seen in the USA.

We spent the night in a wonderful mountain lodge, with individual lodges and an upper-end-style bed and breakfast theme.

Split was a city with parts dating back to the third century, with many Roman influences in its many buildings.

Mostar in Bosnia was very interesting and had a central arch-style bridge which seemed to be a central point for all to see. There was so much we saw that it is too much to describe here.

We also stopped at a wine tasting at the most modern winery I've ever been to. It even had 12 guest rooms, with a pool.

On our way to Dubrovnik, we stopped at Ston to have an unbelievable lunch. At the restaurant, we had an oyster tasting of fresh oysters being farmed several hundred yards from the restaurant. We were served oysters three ways, from raw to fried and baked, and they were the best I will ever eat in my life.

We next went to Dubrovnik, which was particularly interesting to me because it is where Game of Thrones was filmed. Our guide was excellent, as he worked as a "roadie" for the film company, helping set the scenes by taking down modern signs or anything modern, and putting them back after filming. He had large screen shots in a spiral binder and would take us to a cove and hold up the screen shot of the actual scene from the movie to show us the similarity. His behind-the-scenes knowledge of the actors and the reaction from the town and church was beyond expectations. My wife and I were fans of GOT and so excited that we are going to watch if all again one day.

Our last day was in Montenegro, which again was beautiful, and we spent the day next to the water there. We were ferried to a man-made island with an old church on it.

Overall, the Adriatic Sea along the coast of these countries was one of the most beautiful stretches of water you could imagine.

Our expectations of this tour were met and exceeded.

It was close to the Valley of the Temples, with amazing views of the ruins from each room and the beautiful infinity pool. We are basking in the memory of a simply amazing trip to Argentina with Zicasso... it was awesome. First, do not send me a water bottle; I have more than enough. Overall, we had a great trip to Norway, with a good balance between time in the cities of Stavanger, Bergen, and Oslo, and rural retreats. We stayed in fine old hotels in magnificent settings on the Geiranger and Lustra fjords. We reveled in a quieter pace, with more time to enjoy nature. Our agent selected terrific hotels in each setting and, during the trip, was attentive to our needs and responsive when some minor problems arose.

Everyone we worked with was so helpful and timely with their responses. We absolutely loved the trip you all put together for us! We had a wonderful time together! It had a perfect mix of natural beauty, city, mountains, some history, and time to explore on our own (with recommendations provided). The itinerary was so detailed and we had zero issues following the daily plans/instructions during our visit to Switzerland. I think we did just about every single thing you guys had on the list, including the “you might do this” with extra time.

When we started planning our trip to Italy, I knew I wanted to work with a travel agent—specifically, someone who specialized in Italy and was based there. After reaching out to several agencies and reviewing their responses, we chose Zicasso and, more specifically, our travel agent. She is based in Milan and from my very first interaction with her, I knew we had made the right choice.

Our trip could not have been more perfect. Our agent put a lot of thought into every location and planned activity. At the outset, we had a few discussions with her about what we wanted from the trip and, after that, we were happy to leave most of the details in her capable hands. Our goal was to explore mid-to-northern Italy and everything—from the hotels and tours to the free time and transportation—was beautifully organized.

Our 11-night trip started in Milan and ended in Florence, with overnight stays in Milan (one night), Lake Como (three nights), Venice (three nights), and Florence (four nights). Initially, I was hesitant about staying at Lake Como for three nights, but our agent encouraged me to do a little research. I’m so glad she did, as it turned out to be incredible. We had more self-guided time at Lake Como, which was perfect as we adjusted to the time change. In Venice, our itinerary became more structured, but we still had plenty of time for our own explorations. A highlight for my family was a full-day trip into Tuscany, where we visited San Gimignano, an organic vineyard in Chianti, and finished with a tour of Siena. Our day trip to Rome allowed us to see the main attractions and we concluded the journey with a tour of Florence and the Accademia Gallery. Every tour our agent arranged was spot on.

Throughout our trip, she was wonderfully communicative—always available when we had questions, but never intrusive. We were so impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail, and communication that we did not hesitate to seek her out for Naples and Apulia in June 2025. Her guides (who were always special) and drivers are dedicated to her.

Last year, I recall saying you should stay away from Google, tell her your vision, and let her do the rest. She will present every option. We did want to fine-tune a few small preferences this time, but overall, I would give the same advice. We find her to be exceptional and have told her so.

I loved working with Zicasso's tour agency from day one of planning. Our agent planned a wonderful mother/daughter trip, followed by a full family trip in two locations. She was always available for any hiccups, doing her best to smooth them out. The hotels were in perfect locations for each occasion and the tour guides in Paris were excellent, ending with a great driver back to the airport home.

We had a great time in Taiwan. The travel company suggested a few experiences that I would not have thought of and they turned out great (e.g., boba-making class, tea picking/making experience). Our driver/tour guide was also great... very courteous, knowledgeable, and a good driver. He was also very flexible with the itinerary and offered to drive and wait for us while we went shopping, even though I'm pretty sure it was later than when he was supposed to work. It was also nice that he was our tour guide in Taichung and Taipei.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Zicasso's travel expert was our own personal Greek goddess. The entire process was a dream. She proposed multiple options, worked with us to make a choice, and gave us transparent pricing well within our requested range, with no "nickel and diming."
