When we began planning for this trip in early 2024, we evaluated several travel consultant companies. After reviewing each company's proposals, we selected our Zicasso travel agent to assist us in planning a very special trip to Portugal for our group of 16 travelers consisting of family and friends.

From the beginning of our process, our agent was exceptional in putting together an itinerary that would provide the mix of planned excursions/adventures and downtime that allowed each person to explore/experience each day on their own. She was always willing to talk with me when I had questions or wanted to discuss elements of our trip. Given the eight-hour time difference between us, I was greatly appreciative of her flexibility.

Each element of our itinerary was planned in specific detail and very well organized. The trip app was a fantastic tool that allowed us to keep track of our trip details on a day-by-day basis and adjust in real time as plans were updated. For example, our fado dinner show venue had a plumbing issue and could not honor our reservation. Another venue was identified, the app was updated, and not a beat was missed. The new venue was wonderful, the food was authentic Portuguese, and the entertainment was the best.

The support from our travel specialist and her team while our group was on the ground in Portugal was amazing. We were able to use the chat feature of the app to ask real-time questions and get prompt answers. The app was an invaluable and essential part of our trip's success. Everyone in our group had the app on their phones and was always aware of what was going on.

The hotels we selected with our specialist's help were top shelf in terms of location, amenities, and service. The tour guides who led our group through walking tours, food and wine tastings, visiting the Douro Valley, a Jeep tour of Madeira, and tuk-tuk tour to Monte in Madeira were all excellent, bringing their knowledge, energy, and fun to our group. They were all awesome.

The logistics of transporting a group of 16 from airports to hotels and back can be daunting. With a few hiccups along the way, the drivers were super-friendly and professional. We did have one blip related to the airport pick-up of 10 of our group when arriving late at night in Porto from the east coast. The drivers did not have the name of our group on their sign and as a result our group and the drivers kept passing one another for over 30 minutes. The staff of our hotel in Porto quickly intervened and resolved the situation. When landing in Lisbon, we did not see a driver with our group name listed. It turned out the transport company was stationed at meeting point #3, which we were not instructed about. Lisbon is a large, busy airport and it was somewhat disorganized until we made a call to the transport company and found our contact,

On our last night in Lisbon, our group discussed what some of our members called a "once-in-a-lifetime adventure.” Without a doubt, our travel team performed well above our expectations!! The hotels, restaurants, guides, drivers, and the team's support were awesome. I would definitely recommend them without any hesitation!

Myself and the girls in my family just got home from our wonderful trip to Greece, designed by Zicasso’s tour company! We truly had such a magnificent time and this was mostly because of all the work our travel company did to set up all our transportation, travel plans, tours, and hotel stays! They worked with me the whole way through and answered every question we had for months leading up to our trip. They also provided great communication while we were in Greece.

We could not have been happier with the tour guides, tours, and experiences we were able to participate in – the tour guides in Athens and Naxos, the crew on our Santorini catamaran tour, and the tour guide and family in Chania, where we had a cooking and eating experience in the most beautiful setting!

The travel company really did an impeccable job catering to our likes and dislikes to make sure we enjoyed every moment! Thank you so much for giving us such a gift of an experience! We cannot wait to book our next vacation with you! "Yamas!"

The Zicasso tour operator was wonderful and really helped us a lot when we needed her. We had a lot of bad luck on this trip – flight delays and boat trip cancellations. She arranged dinners, a flight, and offered other help. The hotels and tour guides were wonderful.

When planning it, I felt like the Zicasso travel agent listened to what I wanted. He offered options for my consideration, which was helpful, but took my lead, and I think we ended up with a good trip.

Once we got to Greece, there were a few hiccups, but our agent was responsive and it was easy to get in touch with him.

The guide we had in Athens deviated from the itinerary both days we were there (without explanation) and I feel we might have missed a couple of things. Mykonos and Santorini went much more smoothly. The guide we had for the tour of Santorini was fabulous; he communicated what we were going to do and was very informative throughout the tour.

I was planning a trip to Spain for my mom, dad, and myself for my mother's 85th birthday. We have taken some very nice small group tours before, but I wanted more control of our daily agenda, etc. I also knew I would need help with logistics, so I went looking for a reputable company. Through Zicasso, I was introduced to our agent and his company. He and I had several text/email communications and phone calls. He got to know me and my parents a bit and our travel preferences. We talked budget, accommodation preferences, and a whole checklist to help him build the perfect trip. He nailed it!

I tend to be a bit skeptical, especially when it comes to money. I did my research on Zicasso and the travel company – all checked out, time would tell... From the time we were met at the airport in Barcelona to being dropped off at the airport in Madrid, we were not let down. Our agent and his team delivered an amazing trip.

We had a personally curated trip with amazing hotels – each a true gem, great restaurants included or suggested, and private guides for our tours. Even though we didn't have the same guide or driver throughout our trip, the communication between them and our agent was amazing.

The trip needed to be modified as we went along depending on my folks' energy levels, etc, and this was done without us having to say a word. It was like a well-run relay and we were the baton being passed along with care and precision.

Our agent knows Spain and he is a stickler for the details, with excellent customer service. The app he uses is an amazing travel tool.

The trip was great and the Zicasso tour company was easy to work with. They created our dream vacation based on all the information we gave them. If we had any questions during our vacation, they were quick to respond and even checked in with us periodically to see how our travel was going.

We had two activities cancelled due to the weather and the company was quick to respond to offer alternative plans. They even recognized my wife's birthday, which was during our travels.

We have used Zicasso three times and will definitely use them again. We have also recommended this company to some friends, who have also been satisfied with the planning of their trip.

It was my first trip to Europe and I was traveling alone. Anna was amazing! She listened to what I wanted, my interests, and stayed within my budget. I was concerned about traveling alone as a woman, and she made me feel very comfortable by arranging all my transportation needs by plane and ferry between the Islands and arranging for my hotels to be within a central location. She also was great with providing me with suggestions for travel destinations and excursions that met my interests in water activities, hiking, and archeological sites. She answered any questions I had and was always available during my vacation if needed. This travel specialist met all my needs. I highly recommend them for travel to Greece and will use them in the future to explore more destinations.
