We would give this a 4.5-star rating. Overall, our trip was very enjoyable and went smoothly. We would recommend the services of this Zicasso travel company for arranging a trip to Patagonia. The logistics were well taken care of and the tour guides were all knowledgeable and personable. Communication during the planning phase and during the trip was easy. We spent three nights each in Santiago, Torres del Paine, El Calafate, Bariloche, and Buenos Aires.

Argentina, Chile Tour Review: Buenos Aires, Patagonia, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Santiago, Vineyard, Horseback Riding, Kayak, 4x4 Ride, 2-Week Trip

Zicasso's travel agent planned a great trip for us, tailoring it to activities that we wanted; as well, he suggested some other activities we had not considered, and all were superb. He was always available prior to the trip as well as during the trip -- he met us at our first hotel in Buenos Aires to explain the itinerary and give us vouchers (which we never needed to show). All pick-ups and transfers went well (except one which was the fault of the local Patagonia tour company). Highly recommend him to plan your trip.

Chile Birthday Trip Review: Patagonia, Torres del Paine, Colchagua Valley, Volcano, Rainforest, Winery, Culture, Nature, Scenery, 2 Weeks

We just returned from our two-week trip to Chile, planned for my 60th birthday. My boyfriend and I had the most spectacular trip! Zicasso's travel company put together an amazing itinerary, designed to meet all our requirements for experiences, logistics, uniqueness, and our desired activities. From my first call with the travel specialist, I felt the responsiveness, personalization, and high level of service his company provided. I couldn’t have asked for anything more in a travel partner.

We had three stops – a winery in the Colchagua Valley, a boutique hotel in the Patagonia Lakes region, and a lodge in southern Patagonia, near Torres del Paine National Park. The recommendations on lodging were so perfect. Each was intimate, with such a high level of service and uniqueness. We loved that they were all inclusive, with meals and excursions included. This allowed us to adjust our plans day to day, based upon weather and how we were feeling. The travel specialist also made arrangements to make sure I had a very special birthday celebration, which was absolutely wonderful.

Our two-week trip to Patagonia was exceptional. We enjoyed a variety of experiences, from hiking and kayaking to staying on an estancia, visiting glaciers, and horseback riding. Our guides were excellent and the accommodations were amazing. Zicasso's trip planner was available to answer any questions we had throughout the trip. It was very reassuring to have him in-country as a resource when needed. He always responded promptly and checked in with us throughout the trip.

Argentina, Chile Tour Review: Santiago, Patagonia, Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, 1-Month Trip

As we had already committed to an Antarctica cruise, we contacted Zicasso's travel agency to extend the trip to include Patagonia and other parts of South America. From our first conversation with our agent, we felt as though he immediately understood what we wanted to do, asked pertinent questions to assess our interest, and listened to our responses. In essence, he "got it.”  He developed an itinerary that seamlessly integrated into our existing trip, extending the front and back ends of our planned adventure.

Our trip began in Santiago, where he incorporated the cruise portion of our trip. From there, he added in the rest of the itinerary to begin after the Antarctica cruise. This part included Patagonia (the Chilean and Argentina sides), Buenos Aires, and Iguazú Falls.  Overall, we traveled for 31 days.

The hand-offs were smooth and the properties in which we stayed exceeded our expectations. The guides who cared for us were spot-on and accommodated any requests on our behalf.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our only “take-away” was we wished we had built in a few extra days at each location to simply enjoy the fantastic properties and amenities in both areas of Patagonia and Iguazú.

We wholeheartedly recommend our agent and his team!

Argentina Vacation Review: Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Iguazu Falls, Lake District, Hiking, Local Cuisine, 9 Nights

We are basking in the memory of a simply amazing trip to Argentina with Zicasso... it was awesome. The responsiveness of our specialist and guides, and the attentiveness of service overall, was very noticeable throughout. In particular, there was a storm that hit in the days prior to our arrival in Bariloche (Argentine Patagonia Lake District) which impacted boat schedules, and behind the scenes, without us knowing, we were rebooked and rescheduled for various activities in a seamless fashion to ensure we got the hiking and other experiences we were hoping for. Great service!
