Detailed Description
It is always a challenge to choose a vacation destination as nearly everything is possible. You can opt for culture, city, cuisine, the island getaway or the iconic country that seems so far away from everything else, but this handcrafted luxury tour is a combination of two very different vacations to offer it all. After days packed with adventures around Australia’s iconic sights, you will then experience the tranquility of doing nothing on a tropical Pacific island. A mesmerizing menu of experiences fills the first part of the tour, from famous landscapes like Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef to the unmissable cities and authentic encounters with Aboriginal culture. You can do and see a lot as you hop between the four destinations on this giant island of the Pacific. When you are done exploring, fly across the ocean blue to a tiny volcanic island, where the best thing to do is lie back and soak up the serenity.
Touch down first in Sydney, climbing the Harbour Bridge an excellent introduction to the cityscape. Check out Sydney Opera House, take a cruise on the Parramatta River, spend a day amongst the strange scenery of the Blue Mountains, and then fly north to Cairns. This is your gateway to the Great Barrier Reef as you combine snorkeling and a helicopter flight to experience the natural wonder from complementary angles. Spend a day following ancestral Aboriginal practices, and then fly to the sacred rock of Uluru, a monolith as spiritual as it is beautiful. Nearby, the pinnacles of Kata Tjuta reveal that Uluru is not just one giant red rock in the desert. A couple of nights in Melbourne will bring your Australian leg to a close, as wild koalas and kangaroos are amongst those that enchant in Australia’s south.
It will then be a full day of travel to Tahiti with a change of planes in Auckland before soaring out into the heart of the Pacific Ocean. The next morning, a short flight will bring you to the even more remote island of Bora Bora. Bora Bora is an island of pleasure, where what could be done today can be put off until tomorrow. Tropical colors swirl with the turquoises and sapphires and the shimmering whiteness of the sand. Your suite stands over a lagoon, accessed only by a bamboo walkway and for the best part of a week, you can indulge in simple pleasures as you soak up the equanimity and enchantment of one of the world’s great island escapes. Various activities are included in your package, but you do not have to do anything. When you can forget about time, these days will provide a balance to the exploration that has gone before. While my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of Tahiti, I regret to say that our experience with Zicasso's travel agent did not meet our expectations. We entrusted her with planning our 10-day vacation for a group of six, including four young adults in their 20s and early 30s, and unfortunately, several issues impacted our trip.
Of the ten days we were in Tahiti, only two excursions were arranged by our agent. Prior to departure, she sent us a finalized itinerary, and based on that schedule, we booked additional activities for the open days. However, on the second day of our trip, she informed us we had missed an excursion in Moorea. I referenced the itinerary she had provided, which listed that excursion for the following day. She claimed that the schedule had changed, and I was looking at an outdated version, despite never receiving an update or notification. She then placed the blame on airport staff for not informing us of the change—something that should have been her responsibility.
Additionally, the selection of one of the hotels for four nights did not align with the preferences we discussed. While the island and hotel are beautiful, the location was extremely isolated and better suited for honeymooners or older couples. The concierge offered little support in finding local activities, and we were disappointed to miss Easter Sunday services, which we had hoped to attend but received no assistance arranging.
Another major concern was the lodging setup. Our agent booked three rooms, each with a king and a single bed. This configuration was excessive for our group, as we could have comfortably managed with two rooms. This was an unnecessary expense, especially given the already significant cost of the trip.
Due to these issues—lack of communication, poor alignment with our group’s interests, and inefficient planning—I would not recommend her services, nor would I book with this travel agency again.

This was one of our best trips ever. We loved Bora Bora. It was the most beautiful place we've ever visited and seen in person. Great job.

Overall, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable trip. Thanks to the great travel itinerary built by Zicasso’s tour operator, we experienced the best of the best in Australia. We loved the experiences in all three cities, Melbourne, Cairns, Sydney! We really appreciated the detailed arrangements, with impeccable care, experiences, and thoughts.

Thanks to the amazing, perfectly planned Australia and New Zealand vacation itinerary provided by Zicasso's travel agency, and specifically the travel agent and her wonderful colleagues, this was the perfect vacation. We were well taken care of and flights were planned within the countries, with someone always greeting us at the next stop to move us through to our next adventure.
We were always busy and saw the most wonderful things... a sunset dinner cruise on Sydney harbor, the march of the penguins at Phillip Island (she arranged for us to have a front-row seat!), snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, and touring the rainforest with an Aboriginal guide was very interesting! She arranged for many tours and activities, like a jet boat ride up the Dart River, a helicopter ride onto a glacier, and a TranzAlpine train ride in New Zealand. We also had a first-time-ever encounter with a pod of orca while on a boat tour in New Zealand. The whole trip was an unforgettable experience!
We wished we had taken the travel agent's advice and stayed longer. There was so much to see. We packed a lot into our four short weeks thanks to them. We highly recommend using them to plan your Australia and New Zealand itinerary.

My wife and I wanted to attend the Australian Open and snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef, but we weren’t sure how best to spend the rest of a two-week vacation in Australia. We reached out to Zicasso and they put us in touch with two travel planners. We had telephone conversations with both planners and both submitted preliminary ideas for our trip. Both planners were very professional and had great ideas, but the agent we chose recommended an itinerary that more closely matched our interests, abilities, and budget. She continued to work closely with us to fine-tune our adventure. The trip was fantastic! Everything our agent arranged ran very smoothly and all the people she put us in touch with were wonderful to work with. We cannot say enough nice things about her and Australia!
