Costa Rica Anniversary Trip Review: La Fortuna, Manuel Antonio, Hot Springs, Ziplining, 6-Night Tour

Our trip was very enjoyable. The resorts that were selected were top-notch in all aspects – nice rooms, great restaurants, and very nice locations. The tours we went on were very nice. Our favorite tour was the hanging bridge tour in La Fortuna. The hot springs at the La Fortuna resort were amazing. Our only criticism was the travel day between the resort in La Fortuna and the resort in Manuel Antonio. We were picked up at 8am and didn’t arrive until 4.15pm. We did zipline on the way, but the eight-hour travel day was very long. We would have preferred to travel straight from one resort to the other as quickly as possible, with no stops.

Overall, the trip was fantastic. Zicasso's travel agency did a great job of planning our itinerary and was very accessible during our trip. We loved Costa Rica.

Costa Rica Trip Review: Manuel Antonio, River Cruise, Wildlife, 10-Day Tour

The Zicasso travel company was excellent. We found the areas we visited were too touristy. In retrospect, I would have preferred a trip that took us to one or two places instead of three, and one that visited places that were off the beaten path.

Costa Rica Tour Review: Arenal, Carara National Park, Manuel Antonio, Monteverde, Wildlife, 8 Nights

Zicasso’s travel agency put together a great itinerary for us that offered plenty of activities, but still maintained a relaxed pace, which was very suitable for our specific travel needs. All transfers and excursion pick-ups and drop-offs were seamless. We appreciated the variety of tours on offer, as there was something for everyone. In-country support was prompt and easily accessible, and many last-minute changes were easily accommodated.

Costa Rica Vacation Review: Wildlife, 12-Night Trip

Our Zicasso travel team was wonderful – easy to communicate with, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough in communications, and they checked in with us regularly.  Due to weather conditions, we had to make several late changes in planned activities and these all went smoothly. The resorts selected were wonderful, with great service and amenities, and our guides were all friendly and helped us learn so much about Costa Rica, its culture, and environment. We met wonderful people and enjoyed every day, even with the unexpected extended rainy season in the mountains. We can highly recommend our travel partner and we also highly recommend Zicasso. This was our second extended trip with them and everything went smoothly. We definitely will plan our future travel with Zicasso!

The trip was a great experience. The two travel agents and the rest of the team at Zicasso's tour operator provided an excellent service from the start, through the planning process, while in the country, and all the way to the end. They were friendly, understood our specific preferences and needs, responsive, and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend their service.
