This relaxing 10-day journey will begin when you land at Athens International Airport. When you land, a private driver will be waiting to greet and transfer you to your luxurious accommodation in the heart of the city. With two days in Athens, you will have plenty of time to recover from jet lag, to settle in, and to explore the city. Your guide will escort you around some of the stores to admire the jewelry and other custom items on display. Once you are finished shopping, you will transfer to Tzistarakis Mosque, which was built in 1759 by the Ottomans. As you explore the lively neighborhood of Monastiraki during your first afternoon, you will begin your cultural immersion. The following day, your tour will lead you to the historical sites of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, where, from the Theatre of Dionysus to the Parthenon, you will uncover endless relics from Ancient Greece. On the morning of day three, your sights will be set on the Aegean Sea and the island of Mykonos. Two nights on the island will allow you to discover its beauty and unique attractions. My husband and I went through Zicasso to plan our honeymoon to Italy and Greece. This was the best decision ever!
