Detailed Description
Milan is a captivating city and the perfect destination for a week-long trip. Your 7-day journey will begin when you land at Malpensa Airport. Your first tour will lead you to the La Scala Opera House, where you will have the chance to watch a live opera show. The following day, you will explore some of Milan’s other well-known attractions. A private guide will lead you on a tour of the Milan Cathedral and the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The highlight of your visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site will be the chance to view Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper painting.
The next morning, you will venture to the Brera Art Gallery and Sforza Castle. The Brera Art Gallery is home to a large collection of masterpiece paintings. The age-old Sforza Castle will be equally impressive, and you will witness the Rondanini Pietà, which was Michelangelo’s last sculpture. The following day, you will visit the unrivaled Lake Como area. The lakeside city of Como is charming, and a private boat ride around the will be relaxing and wonderful.
Milan is known as being the fashion capital of the world, and the following day, you will explore some of the best of Milan’s shopping scene. The nearby neighborhood, known as the Golden Rectangle, will provide another chance to shop for Italian goods. The next morning, you will transfer to the Valpolicella area. Valpolicella is known for its wines, and you will tour a winery and taste multiple wines. After this memorable experience, you will return to Milan for your final night. The next day, you will fly home.
