My husband and I had utilized the services of Zicasso for prior journeys to Italy, Southeast Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. For our recent trip to Matera and Puglia, I requested an agency located in Italy that specializes in travel to Italy. We selected a company that was on a magazine’s A-list of travel advisors.
Our travel consultant listened to and respected my requests for certain activities (private food, historical and boat tours, wine tastings, cheese making) and types of accommodations (properties that offered a shaded area to relax and read). She also emailed answers to my numerous detail-oriented questions (the curse of having personally worked as a tour guide). She sent a lovely gift to our first hotel and called halfway through our vacation to check in with us. Communication via text with WhatsApp was convenient and used frequently. Most importantly, when we had a problem with one of our accommodations, she followed up (even after our trip had ended) and graciously offered some compensation.

Zicasso's travel specialist was amazing! The trip she planned surpassed all my dreams and expectations. We got to really experience Italy with rare and unique experiences designed just for the two of us, stayed in luxurious hotels, and were pampered and spoiled with 24/7 availability. We loved the experiences, our guides, the drivers, the hotels, and the food. We are definitely going back to Italy and using our travel specialist again! We cannot recommend her highly enough. She is responsive, attentive, and wonderful.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. All details were taken care of and we had great support prior to and during the trip. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

I loved the itinerary Zicasso's travel company prepared. Unfortunately, I was not able to do most of my tours because I got sick, but the company was incredible. They found a doctor to see me at my hotel and during the rest of the trip, they checked in with me every day to see how I was doing. I was traveling alone, so I felt so cared for because they were always checking in with me to see how I was feeling.

Zicasso's tour operator was great to work with. From trip planning to execution, they listened to our wishes and created a very nice itinerary tailored just for us. Then, leading up to the trip, they sent weekly emails to remind us of tasks we needed to complete. We had a virtual meeting just before the trip to go over the itinerary again and instruct us on how to contact them 24/7 if we needed anything. During the trip, they checked in with us to make sure everything was going as planned.
