Communication with our Zicasso travel team was fantastic. They were very responsive to all questions and calmed any concerns we had.
We were met at the airport by our travel agent, who was our guide for the week. He was amazing! He ensured we had the best experience possible – we traveled and explored on our schedule, making sure we saw all the animals and sights we wanted to see.
The Serengeti was everything I imagined it would be. The plains were alive with all kinds of animals, and watching the cheetahs, lions, and leopards hunting was magical. We didn’t see them catch anything, but it was still fantastic to see them in action.
We were there during a drought, so the Great Migration hadn't started yet, but it started raining and we saw thousands of animals gathering to start their long trek. It was a beautiful sight.
Our agent did his best to ensure we saw the Big Five – elephant, leopard, buffalo, lion, and rhino, and we managed to see four of them on our first day out in the Serengeti. We had to wait until the last day in the Ngorongoro Crater to see a rhino, but it was worth the wait.
It was the best vacation I have ever had and our travel agent was a big reason why.
Thank you to our travel team!

Our African safari, organized by Zicasso’s tour company and its agent, was a trip of a lifetime. Their partnering with the local travel company was absolutely brilliant. Our guide was of the highest quality that could have been expected.
The accommodations at the Ngorongoro Crater were amazing. The other accommodations were a bit more rustic, but they seemed perfectly located for our safaris.
We would not recommend the "walk" to the elephant caves without more disclosure about the difficulty of the trek and the footwear required. We were not thrilled with the visit to the Maasai village. We felt taken advantage of. We would have preferred a visit to a village where our participation was more authentic and where we did not get a high-pressure sales pitch.
Booking the hot-air balloon ride with the chosen company was an excellent choice. We have come back with so many memories of our time in Tanzania (including our stay in Zanzibar). We would highly recommend our travel company and agent to anyone considering an African safari.

We were consistently pampered and cared for with genuine warmth and hospitality. The natural beauty of the Kenyan landscape is breathtaking, surpassed only by the graciousness and kindness of its people.
Highlights of our trip included the unforgettable safari experiences, the exceptional quality of the camp accommodations, and meaningful visits to local villages. Each moment offered a sense of wonder and cultural connection.
The memories we have made—from the landscapes to the people—will remain with us for a lifetime. We are deeply grateful for the care and excellence that made this trip truly extraordinary.
