You’re welcomed at the airport and transferred to a hotel in the heart of the old quarter. On this tour, you will journey from Southern Spain to Morocco. Seville has energy, a majestic old city that keeps you on your toes while showcasing the beauty of tradition and history. You’ll discover flamenco, trace Christopher Columbus’s story (he is buried in the city), see where Star Wars was filmed and enjoy the welcoming family atmosphere of Andalusia. Spend a night in the white hilltop village of Ronda on route to Granada, one of the great artistic cities and a superb opportunity to explore local culture. From the Alhambra to the hammam, tapas to outdoor adventure, this time will help to cultivate your own sense of adventure.

From nearby Malaga you fly to Casablanca, where you’re welcomed into Morocco at one of the world’s largest mosques, which will be an eye-opening experience for all. Then, travel along the coast to Marrakech, the proverbial feast for the senses and a place where everyone can try out their own crafts. The remainder of your trip will be wonderfully quiet, first at the oases of Aroumd and Zaouit Ifergane, then on the coast at the whitewashed town of Essaouira. There’s still time to return for a final evening in Marrakech, where the storytellers narrate their own tale of family and folklore. Travel time has been minimized throughout the tour and your hotels have been chosen for quality and location, mostly in pedestrianized areas within easy walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.

Portugal, Spain Tour Review: Porto, Cangas de Onis, Sidecar Tour, History, 10 Days

The planning experience was wonderful overall. From the initial conversation about what my family was looking for to the final touches to the itinerary, Zicasso's travel expert was engaging, responsive, and helpful.

The accommodations he selected for us exceeded expectations; they were spacious, beautiful, and well-located. The tours/activities suggested were really fun and gave us a sense of the locale in a unique and memorable way that fit our family well. Once we were in-country, communications were easy and helpful. We felt very well cared for.

Payment to our travel company was easy and it was a real pleasure once we were in-country to have all the identified items already paid for. I would definitely book a trip with them again.

Spain Vacation Review: History, Architecture, Hiking, E-Biking, Barcelona, Caminito del Rey, Marbella, 2 Weeks

Zicasso's travel specialists did a great job for us. They clearly listened to us and curated an experience that was made specifically for us. It checked all of the boxes and more.

Highlights were the local tour guides in each city. It was great to meet and get to know local people, learn so much history, see the architecture (Gaudí in Barcelona and the awesome palaces and cathedrals that we visited), the Montserrat hike, Caminito del Rey (which was absolutely better with a guide), and the Marbella e-bike adventure.

The hotels were wonderful; all unique and all great choices. We came home happy and tired, which is the sign of a good trip for us (since we do not ever sit on beaches or at pools and relax!).
