On this 10-day tour of Spain, all of your senses will be enlightened as you traverse this splendid country from top to bottom. Your tour will begin in Spain’s Basque Country. In San Sebastian, you will dine at one of the world’s best restaurants before attending the world-renowned San Sebastian Film Festival. Your tour will continue to Barcelona, where you will indulge in a private cooking class. You will also explore the city’s most iconic sites on a private tour. You will then visit the Catalonian countryside for a hot air balloon ride. In Seville, you will attend a traditional flamenco show that will be accompanied by a dinner of regional tapas. Traversing the city via private yacht will allow you to cruise down the Guadalquivir River in style.
Finally, you will arrive in Madrid. Zicasso's travel specialists did a great job for us. They clearly listened to us and curated an experience that was made specifically for us. It checked all of the boxes and more.
Highlights were the local tour guides in each city. It was great to meet and get to know local people, learn so much history, see the architecture (Gaudí in Barcelona and the awesome palaces and cathedrals that we visited), the Montserrat hike, Caminito del Rey (which was absolutely better with a guide), and the Marbella e-bike adventure.
The hotels were wonderful; all unique and all great choices. We came home happy and tired, which is the sign of a good trip for us (since we do not ever sit on beaches or at pools and relax!).
