Detailed Description

Thailand is your moment to bring the family closer together on this 7-day tour meant for family fun and adventure, cultural discovery and those moments of educational wonder that will have the kids learning without evening knowing it. Your time will take you through the sensations of Thailand’s second largest city and hiding away in a local town surrounded by natural splendor. The beauty of the jungle is inescapable, the marvels of hillside tribes are unbelievable, and your family will only be able to awe at the entire adventure.

Your family outing begins with your arrival in Chiang Mai. The wonders abound as you settle into your hotel and are picked up by a traditional trishaw. Within the city walls you can find the grandeur of a metropolis seemingly disguised as a town; outside the walls you find the ease and comforts of the countryside, including a coffee plantation and the White Hmong hill tribe village of Chang Khien. Soon you will ascend the mountain Doi Suthep to see the wonderful view that overlooks the entire city taking in your first sunset in Thailand with the family already in awe.

Your second day brings more adventure as you are taken to Lisu Village to pick up mountain bikes that will have you coasting along the country roads, from magnificent hillsides to paddy fields. Your guide will take you beside the Mae Taeng River bringing you to a wonderful lunching spot where you will dine surrounded by the luxurious landscape. After lunch you will climb aboard a raft and begin your adventure down the trickling waterway which soon trundles over rocks, streaming down into whitewater, and giving you a rush of energy amidst the fun loving family cries of “wow!”

The following day you will venture out into the jungle once again to witness the incredible Mae Kampong Village; a remarkable cooking course will unwrap the flavors of the most famous Thai dishes. You also have the option of sailing through the treetops with the Flight of the Gibbon experience. The following morning will have you venturing through the windy hills of the forest arriving in the delightful and tranquil town of Pai. The days are yours to explore the excellent landscape, from Pai Canyon to Pam Bok Waterfall; you could even experience a circus class. On your final day you will return to Chiang Mai to begin your journey home with the fantastic praise of the family endlessly on loop.

Thailand Travel Review: Bangkok, Koh Samui, Temples, Elephant...

We had a great trip to Thailand with our Zicasso trip planner. They set us up with a very helpful guide in Bangkok, who made it easy from the time we stepped off the plane, through all the temples, activities, night markets, tuk-tuks, and boats.

Our hotel in Bangkok was great, with nice views and a nice breakfast buffet. We took the free hotel ferry to the shopping mall and it was a lot of fun.

Our resort in Koh Samui was incredible. It had a great beach and pool. The elephant sanctuary and the cooking class were highlights. We would probably pass on Pig Island next time as it was very dirty and we saw pigs getting attacked.

Overall, we had a great time and the tour guide took care of us completely, from start to finish.

Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore Travel Review: Lan...

We had an amazing, nearly three-week trip throughout Southeast Asia. Zicasso's tour operators did an incredible job planning all of the details of the trip. In general, I am not easily impressed and I tend to be pretty upfront with my criticism. In this case, I was truly impressed. I really don't have any criticism about the whole experience.

This was a very complicated trip, with eight cities/locations and six internal flights. We had great communication in the months and weeks leading up to the trip. They were receptive to all of our requests and they gave very good advice when we had questions.

All of the guides were great. The hotels were amazing and all of the details of the activities, transfers, and internal flights were well thought out and well coordinated. I was so impressed by their attention to detail. They were also willing to be flexible and able to make changes, even during the trip. I was able to reach them throughout the trip by WhatsApp and they responded quickly every time. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Thailand Family Travel Review: Bangkok, Cheow Lan Lake,...

Zicasso's tour planner did an impeccable job planning my family's trip to Thailand! The trip he planned for us was carefully considered and the coordination of all the tours, travel, and accommodations was seamless. He was extremely patient and responsive when we needed to change things, which was frequently. I never had any problems getting to where we needed to be and we loved all of our excursions and our accommodations. Would highly recommend him!

Thailand Trip Review: Chiang Mai, 8 Nights

Zicasso's travel expert addressed our one issue with our bed instantly and helped with navigating having to potentially go home because of health issues. Aside from that, our tour guide in Chiang Mai was the best we have ever had and to top it, he was a photographer, so took the most amazing photos for us.

I felt Bangkok was tough to rate because it was a very busy, dirty city, but we had an amazing guide one evening. We had issues with the driver showing up at the right time a few times, but mostly in Bangkok. Our agent was the best at addressing our needs.
