I had a wonderful time in the beautiful country of Laos.  Thanks to our travel planners at the travel company, I was able to enjoy a variety of activities without having to worry about planning!  They did a fantastic job of organizing from start to finish.

We are very happy with our experience with the Zicasso travel company. Everywhere we went there was someone friendly and knowledgeable waiting to greet us and give us a tour, or transport us to our next destination. All of the details were figured out ahead of time, allowing our honeymoon to be relaxing and stress-free.

Our travel agency found us excellent guides and crafted an itinerary based on our desires. They were also available during our trip when we wanted to make changes to the itinerary and helped us negotiate a refund with a local agency.

Working with the tour company was a seamless experience that made traveling so far from home feel easy! The tour planner was such a great person to work with, and he really helped us fine-tune our trip so that we would have a truly custom trip experience. All our tour guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the country,culture, and architecture. We had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon, and I would definitely work with them again, and recommend them to friends and family!

The itinerary was very good. Overall organization was good. There were some small problems. We were not met by the representative at the Hanoi airport as was promised, so we had to call the office and then they sent somebody. Seats were not assigned on the internal flights and as a result we were bumped off from one flight. Some guides had very poor English and couldn't understand when talked back. We had to ask questions as they were not very eager to talk. In couple of places guides probably had other arrangements and were rushing to get rid of us as they had to make it someplace. Tour to Mekong delta didn't follow the itinerary and we didn't go to some places that were mentioned. The dinner that was included and was described as wine pairing and wine experience, was very far from it: Waiters didn't speak english and when we asked if we can see the bottle he said "no, only by the glass", nobody could even describe the wine. But since my husband is a wine lover and collector we could manage oursleves. We still loved the trip and would definitely come back. We would use this company, but would have to monitor more closely all the arrangements. The email communication was excellent and somebody from the office was constantly calling to make sure that we are ok. 

In total, we had a very good experience with this travel agency for our recent trip to Japan.  Service level was exemplary.  Anything that was sub-par, the travel agency tried their best to rectify.  

Overall, the trip was good and everything went really smoothly. 

The guides were great. All of the hotels were amazing. However, one of them was not as good as the others. It felt outdated and the rooms were noisy.

For the cruise, I wish there were more activities.

The weather wasn’t the best – often rainy and cloudy. I wish it were shared that this was the cloudy season in northern Vietnam. We would have looked to visit during a different time.

Also, many of the tours felt very touristy. For example, we were excited to go to the jazz club in Vietnam. However, when we got there, we couldn’t even get a seat as it was filled with tourists. In the Mekong Delta, the singers were singing “if you’re happy and you know it, clap your feet”.

Our travel company contact was 100% hands on during our three week trip through Bhutan, Laos and Thailand.  When changes to our itinerary were needed, she contacted her colleagues on-site and ensured changes were done to our liking.  

My husband and I could not have been more happy with our honeymoon, it was like a dream. Bali is a literal paradise. The people of Bali are some of the friendliest people I've ever met, and their culture is amazing. The island itself is beautiful, from the jungle, to the ocean, to the never-ending incredible architecture that can be seen practically everywhere you look. We loved every minute of our trip and every activity/tour we had planned. We saw amazing temples, white-water rafted down the Ayung River, hiked a volcano to watch the sunrise from the top, biked through rice-fields and villages, visited with Balinese families in their compounds and learned all about their culture, traditions, how to make their offerings, how to cook Balinese food, snorkeled incredible gardens of coral and tropical fish, attended a beautiful performance of traditional Balinese singing and dancing that told an incredible story full of love, deceit, battles, rescue, and triumph (not to mention shocking pyrotechnics), experienced a Balinese holiday of cilence that happens once a year involving festivals of parading super intricately detailed "monsters" made out of foam and paper mache through the streets, and then afterwards enjoying a full day of rest, relaxation, and meditation. There aren't enough adjectives in the English language to sufficiently describe the mere awesomeness of this trip. And our guide, our guide was truly wonderful, by the end of the trip, we felt like we were close friends.
