This was our second time using Zicasso to plan a European vacation and, once again, we were impressed! Zicasso’s travel agency took our input and put together the perfect holiday. We’re not “typical” tourists who want to visit big cities and see all the sites in a compressed period. Instead, we wanted to visit smaller towns, go hiking in the Dolomites, and experience Italy in a way a lot of tourists don’t. They found us amazing small hotels, arranged bicycle tours, and, for our final stay in Venice, took care of every detail for some of the best days of our trip. Leaving was hard to do, but we’ll be back and definitely use this travel agency and Zicasso. If you want a boutique experience, tailor-made for you and your travel wants, they’re the best!

Overall, we had a wonderful trip seeing beautiful Croatia and Slovenia, with day trips to Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The trip was well laid out for city tours, learning about the history of each region and former Yugoslavia, while eating delicious food and taking in beautiful sites.

The only reason I did not give five stars was because our tour of Mostar seemed very short and rushed. It did not even last an hour. Also, we were not fully happy with our hotel in Slovenia.

We had a fantastic trip! Our trip was so well-planned and organized by Zicasso's travel partner. The partners she works with in the industry to provide tours and driving services were excellent. The amount of time, effort, and confusion she saved us was priceless.

Communication was important to me and she was responsive every step of the way, including when we were in Croatia.

You have the ability to choose your hotels and not have to do the research yourself on the quality, location, etc. Working in partnership on this piece of any travel is extremely helpful with so many choices available today.

The trip was a very memorable experience for our entire group. The Zicasso tour company provided an excellent variety of experiences and tour options. We provided an outline and what our expectations were for the trip and the company not only met, but exceeded our expectations.

Our private driver and guide was available at all times, always on time, and engaging and knowledgeable about all our destinations. There was also a time when we ventured out on our own and were rescued from a rainstorm when we were faced with walking to our hotel in the rain without proper gear. Our driver was a pleasure to have as our host and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. We were sad to say goodbye at the end of the trip.

From start to finish, our 12-day Croatia honeymoon was absolutely fabulous, thanks to the Zicasso trip planner!

It was truly life-saving to have her just a text away when we got stuck in Vienna for our first night. She quickly rearranged all of our excursions to ensure we did not miss anything once we arrived a day late at our first stop, Split. It was amazing to see all of the history and eat some of the best seafood ever!

Our next stop, Hvar, was breathtaking. At night, you could see the bottom of the ocean with just the moonlight!! We stayed in a gorgeous hotel arranged by our agent that had an awesome swimming spot in the sea and a huge pool with a slide. When it unfortunately rained for our boating day in Hvar, she was so helpful in reassuring us that she would handle the cancellation. It was so nice to have a point of contact to work through the logistical issues so we could truly relax and enjoy our vacation.

The last stop, Dubrovnik, was definitely our favorite! We highly recommend walking the wall around Old Town. Our boating day in Dubrovnik was one of our most favorite days. Having a private boat was so nice as we could take the whole day at our own pace and enjoy each of the islands we visited.

Overall, this was truly an experience of a lifetime! We can't thank our agent enough for all of her work in making this an unforgettable trip!!!

I went to Croatia with my 17-year-old daughter. I booked my trip through Zicasso and their travel agency, and my daughter and I had the best experience of our lives. We visited four cities in Croatia and spent three to four days in each. Our agent selected great hotels, amazing places to visit, and fabulous things to do. Everything was very organized and well coordinated.

I am an anxious woman whenever I am in a new country. Because of our agent’s great organizational and coordination skills, and constant communication to make sure we were OK and did not miss anything, I had almost no anxiety during our whole vacation. I said almost because in one of the cities an ATM ate my card and I had no cash for a day. Even then, our amazing agent said she could lend me some money so I was not stressed about not having money. She was the absolute best!

I highly recommend Zicasso and our travel company. Ask for our agent and you will not regret booking your trip through her.
