My husband and I went on a wonderful trip to New Zealand visiting both North and South Island. The trip was originally planned for 2021 but had to be postponed until this year. I prefer working with an agent, and Lindsay from our travel agency was extremely responsive, offering helpful options and suggestions. Even though the time we spent on the North Island was right after the torrential rains, we modified the itinerary to spend four days in the Taupo area and two days in Rotorua.

We hiked in the Tongariro National Park and part of the Great Lake Pathway, sailed to view the Maori Rock Carvings, and visited Orakei Korako geothermal pools and Huka Falls in the Lake Taupo area. In Rotorua, we relaxed in the mineral pools of the spa and enjoyed the indigenous Maori experience at Te Puia.

The next 12 days were spent on the South Island where we had sunny and warm weather! One of our favorite places was Abel Tasman Park where we went kayaking and hiked the beautiful Coast Trek. We continued our adventures with a memorable heli-hiking experience on the Tasman Glacier in the Mt. Cook region, followed by visiting the unique blue penguins and Royal Albatrosses on the Otago Peninsula and enjoyed a hike and cruise on the famous Milford Sound in Fiordland National Park.

We ended our journey with three days in the Lake Wanaka area where we kayaked, hiked, and visited some of the region's famous wineries.

My husband and I trusted Kate from the travel agency to plan our honeymoon in New Zealand and Fiji, a decision we couldn't have been happier with. As we are both big nerds and unconditional fans of the Lord of the Rings, we asked Kate to design a trip that covered as many filming locations as possible. The result was amazing. Not only did we enjoy Hobbiton or Rivendell, but Kate mixed our passion for LOTR with incredible tours and activities that allowed us to get to really know and fall in love with New Zealand!

The resort in Fiji was the perfect end to our trip and we felt truly as if we were in paradise! Moreover, Kate was available at all times and we quickly found a solution with her when one of our flights got canceled. We felt that she had our back 100% of the time, and that is priceless when you are such a long way from home.

This was a trip with our 10-year-old grandson. Our agent lived up to our expectations as we worked for about three months putting this trip together. He was patient with every change I'd throw at him and always available, even on our trip if we needed him.

We just returned from a fantastic 17-day trip to Australia arranged by Shelley at the travel agency. Zicasso matched us up with Shelley and her firm after an issue with our previous agent. Shelley was a lifesaver and able to create a new itinerary that closely matched our initial plans despite the short notice. She also provided suggestions to fine-tune and improve our previous plans to better match current flight schedules and tour offerings that worked with our travel style.

All of the tours and activities she booked were enjoyable. A particular bonus was having local contacts that we could reach out to when the inevitable travel glitch occurred, allowing us to quickly get back on our way. We appreciated Shelley's knowledge and professionalism throughout the process. We highly recommend Shelley and the travel agency and will work with them the next time we plan to visit Australia or New Zealand.

We loved our New Zealand/Australia travel specialist Jo! Our original trip in March 2020 was delayed because of Covid, but Jo kept us updated and then rescheduled our trip. Her suggestions about what to see and do fit in perfectly with what we wanted out of our trip. Taking the trip and all we saw and did was even better than what the terrific itinerary showed. Just a truly awesome trip in every respect!

In a word, amazing! I found myself using that word a lot on this trip. Everything went as planned and it was an absolutely incredible journey, very glad I did it. The hotels all treated me like I was their most important person, and the venues and tours that I went on were, in a word, amazing!Absolutely would recommend Zicasso as a travel service for New Zealand. A little pricey, but they sure delivered! I had to contact their office in New Zealand twice and they were exceptionally helpful.
