This travel company was good, but I wish I had vetted another agency to really know which was the best and offered the best deal.

Robert, the owner of this travel company, was certainly very personable and knowledgeable about Italy and arranged our visits to Barcelona, Spain, Venice, Florence, Rome, and Positano, back to Barcelona and home. We wanted to see the sites, but we were sometimes on two tours a day, which was a lot, but we realized that decision was ours.

All the hotels were good and close to where we needed to be. The best hotel was the one in Barcelona. The hotel, its location, and staff were excellent, and I would highly recommend it to others visiting Barcelona.

Generally speaking, this travel agency is a very good advisor. The best part is their app, which updates every day during your travels. Thanks to the app, I could easily reach our hotels and our drivers. The communication between the representatives always was great.

We stayed in four different properties during our trip and three of them were just spectacular. The only hotel that did not meet our expectations was the one in Bordeaux. It was very old and not well maintained, and the location was not great either. On top of that, the air conditioning in our room was broken with 95° heat. We didn't sleep all night, but the next morning, the manager sent us a bottle of champagne with a letter of apology.

Eric planned the perfect holiday in France. Our driver was waiting for us on arrival. Off to Normandy for our first three nights, with a quick stop at Monet's garden at Giverny. Our guide brought the water lilies to life. We checked in at an amazing five-star hotel. Do not miss either of their two Michelin-star restaurants. It's a short walk into Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, where you will find many restaurants. We spent two days exploring everything Normandy and World War 2 with an exceptional guide.

Paris did not disappoint. We hit the ground running. Eric arranged a tour of Paris by car. The evening dinner cruise on the River Seine was definitely a highlight of the trip, as were beautiful views of the city lit up at night, including the Eiffel Tower. I had no idea how beautiful the Palace and Gardens of Versailles are - the restaurant on-site by the lake with rowboats is wonderful. Of course, the guide matters - she was the best! If you're a foodie, make sure you schedule a cooking class with our chef. Shopping at the local markets is an adventure in itself. I've been able to recreate the meal back in the States.

We chose to explore the Champagne houses on this trip. Both were exceptional and yes, we brought home four bottles. In between houses, we had the most wonderful lunch with a champagne flight at Au 36 in Hautvillers. A trip to Paris would not be complete without visiting the Louvre and Orangerie museums. We completed our holiday with a flute of champagne at the top of the Eiffel Tower! 

Eric and the guides made perfect restaurant recommendations. I most definitely recommend him and the travel agency!

 

We enjoyed our trip immensely and felt the itinerary was fascinating. Two of our guides, who took us to D-Day beaches and Rouen, were top-notch! However, our guide for St. Michel and Honfleur and Etretat was very, very disappointing. The drivers were excellent and very prompt. Our contact person at the travel agency was very pleasant and easy to deal with before the trip.

Overall, the trip delivered on giving us a variety of experiences and the flavor of France. We traveled as a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids, 13 and 16 years old. The itinerary was customized to keep the kids and us engaged and active, but also with some downtime for ourselves. The travel company communicated well with planning the itinerary (most impressed with Matthew) and throughout the travel process when changes occurred. The drivers and guides were responsive and friendly.  The modes of transportation were ample and nice, for example, the cars and especially first class on the TGV.

This trip exceeded my wildest dreams. After reading the reviews and completing some information on the website, Sophie reached out to me on a splendid day while I was walking my dog on Roosevelt Island near Washington, D.C. 

I really did not know what I wanted to do in France other than to see Provence and Paris, and learn the language. However, based on our discussions, she sent me an itinerary. I independently consulted travel books and various websites. What I found was that Sophie had touched on all the highlights, so much so that I felt confident in finalizing the itinerary she had created for me.

We discussed amazing things, but she added many more amazing things, making it seem almost like a dream. She arranged a private tour that included riding a white horse of the Camargue to view the flamingos and other wildlife. For our stays, Sophie chose luxurious, centrally located, upscale boutique hotels with excellent amenities, kind staff, and comfortable rooms. Despite my mishap in the bathroom, the apartment in St. Remy de Provence was steps away from where Nostradamus was born. It was beautifully appointed with a great deck that overlooked the city and a church that was built hundreds of years ago. 

We enjoyed nights of eating charcuterie and drinking local wines to the smell of baked croissants from the restaurant on the bottom floor of the apartment house. We also had access to amenities at the sister hotel and could swim and view the Alpilles from the pool.

Sophie helped with train tickets, restaurant reservations, and any complications that arose (I was there for six weeks). Twice she sent us bottles of champagne with kind messages to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in Paris and to celebrate the Fete Nationale Francaise or (Bastille Day). She arranged for reservations on the rooftop of an exquisite hotel in St. Remy de Provence so we could watch the fireworks.

I couldn't say enough good things about this travel company! Hilary helped us plan the most incredible honeymoon to Italy & Greece. We visited Lake Como, Lake Garda, Dolomites, Santorini and Naxos. She created an itinerary that encompassed everything we wanted - a little bit of adventure, relaxation, and being off the beaten path. All of the details were well organized and we had 0 logistic issues while we were there. We could tell that all of the activities Hilary booked for us were not well known by the broader population - cooking class at a family-owned restaurant, a hike through the country side, etc. It made for a more intimate and authentic experience. Highly recommend working with this travel agency to book your dream vacation! You won't regret it :)

Wow, what a fantastic trip we had to Switzerland, which was perfectly planned by the attentive and detailed Devaki. We interviewed three or so travel agents to help us, a husband and wife and four adult sons, with our planning. We wanted to see the beauty and landscape of the countryside and mountains. We wanted to explore, hike, and be in nature. We also wanted nice hotels, transportation, and cuisine. We had an extensive list of places we wanted to see.

Devaki listened, took notes, asked questions, shared her experiences, and created a trip and itinerary encompassing all that we asked for and then some. Dev and her team are outstanding. Their attention to detail is above and beyond. The knowledge her team has of the destinations and travel, in general, came through with a well-planned trip. 

The response team they have in place is so helpful when questions or concerns arise. They responded quickly and took care of any and every issue that came up, which were very few, maybe just one. I would not hesitate to recommend Dev and her team, and I would certainly use them again.
