Zicasso’s travel agent helped us plan the perfect customized two-week vacation for two couples in Ireland and Northern Ireland in September 2024. She was totally attentive to our priorities, preferred type/level of accommodation, wishes for non-standard activities to include in our trip, and overall budget. Her intimate knowledge of Ireland, quick turnaround, and flexibility in scheduling planning calls that worked for two couples in different US time zones and her own in Ireland were incredible. After weighing options for traveling around the country, we were so glad we used her recommended private driver/guides (and vehicles), who were terrific.

Our guide/driver drove two of us for a day as we visited small towns near Limerick from which relatives hailed. He was so helpful in trying to find out more information from local merchants about our ancestors and finding remote sites. Another driver/guide then spent 10 days with the four of us. He was so well-versed in Irish history and so much fun that it made for a marvelously enjoyable and informative trip.

The hotels were well chosen. The outstanding property was in Aix-en-Provence. The most disappointing was the hotel in Nice. The location was great, but the room was beyond small and the balcony didn’t compensate for the claustrophobic feel.

We have traveled extensively and the attention to detail, seamless transition from place to place, and quality of tours and guides was second to none. Overall this was one of our favorite vacations.

Zicasso’s travel agency worked diligently with us to customize our itinerary after some friends pulled out of the trip. Their choice of guides in France and accommodations were exemplary. They also identified conflicts in the itinerary and made changes to prevent challenges in seeing some of our planned sites in London.

It's super-easy to use and truly takes the guesswork out of things so you can just relax and enjoy your vacation. Our Zicasso agent listened to our group's wants for the itinerary and our trip had a bit of everything: adventure, great accommodations, and the downtime we needed. She gave a lot of suggestions for our free time, which was super-helpful. We highly recommend her.

The trip was much fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we saw, even the pouring rain storm at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo! It was an amazing evening, beginning with the dinner in Edinburgh Castle and excellent seats for the performance.

We did not plan downtime to enjoy wandering around the lovely towns. It will be a point to consider for the next trip.

We did not realize the need to make dinner reservations prior to arriving in Scotland. It was very difficult to get into many of the restaurants suggested. We ended up eating in the hotel restaurants more than we would have liked. They were all excellent, so we did not go hungry!

Zicasso’s tour operator was great! We had never been to Ireland or Scotland, so we didn’t know much. Just from a few meetings and discussing what we enjoyed and knew we wanted to do, she planned the perfect trip! It was very organized and easy to navigate due to the trip guide provided!
