Our travel agent was amazing in planning our trip for five. Our hotels were comfortable and within walking distance to restaurants and many sites. Our drivers were on time and personable. Even when our train was part of a strike, he was able to arrange a driver from Florence to Sorrento in a short time. We had his support before and during our trip; he knew exactly what we were looking for. Overall, I would highly recommend Zicasso's travel partner.

From the very beginning, our Zicasso agent made sure she heard what I wanted for myself and my daughter. She planned a wonderful base itinerary and worked with me to get exactly what we wanted, plus gave us extra-special options that just added to the best trip possible.

We couldn't have asked for a better trip to Italy! It was the right pace and really catered to our interests. Zicasso’s trip planner took the time to really get to know what we liked and honed in on that to enhance our experience. The seamless connections and transfers made traveling so carefree and relaxed. There were no hitches or interruptions. Everything ran on time or her guides and drivers were early and waiting for us. If we had a change or requested a time change, she was great about getting what we wanted and staying in touch. That made such a difference.

Overall, the trip was really great. There were some issues with logistics and the way the trip was set up. For example, we wanted to do wine tasting and they should've scheduled the wine tasting out of Florence. Getting in and out of Florence and going down to Tuscany and hitting some major wineries was much easier. Instead, they scheduled it out of Castelfalfi, which was a very beautiful place, but logistically very difficult to get in and out of to explore Tuscany. It was at least an hour each way of extra driving to do any kind of exploration. It was a ridiculous amount of driving and only allowed us to do a couple of things before we had to head back. They should understand those logistics and schedule it better. That's why we hire them.

We were scheduled to visit a lot of small towns along the way. This was great, but sometimes when we were driving to our next destination, we would drive right past the town that we had just visited the day before. Logistically, this seemed ridiculous. We should've just visited the town on our way to the next destination. Again, this should be easily managed by the agency when you live in Italy and you're planning the trip. I was surprised how many times we backtracked past different towns and just kept thinking this could've been done so much better.

They also scheduled a lot of our private tours in vans, which must have made the expense so much more. We only needed a van when we were traveling to new places with our luggage. We didn't need a van for day trips.

We paid extra for English-speaking drivers, but half of our drivers didn't talk to us. They offered no information about the area and it was disappointing. I thought we were going on tours, but in fact, we were just getting dropped off and the driver provided no information about where we were going. This was especially prevalent in Puglia.

We were on a golf trip as well. A few times, the scheduled time for drop-off and pick-up did not allow enough time to play golf. That was frustrating and we had to call the agency multiple times to get the logistics figured out.

I had a number so I could text them with issues and it seemed like I was texting them every single day. They were very responsive and very helpful, and did whatever they could to fix the problem. I was very grateful for that.

The hotels we stayed at were amazing and the beds were very comfortable, and the wine tours and other tours they put together were fantastic.

Our Zicasso travel agent put together an outstanding itinerary for our 15-year anniversary tour of Italy. To make this trip even better than just the sights, sounds, and food of Italy, she provided detailed support leading up to and during the trip. As someone who tends to worry a little too much, I felt completely taken care of, truly had a worry-free time, and could really immerse myself in the history and culture of the various cities that we visited.

I also want to comment on the quality of the various activities. Most everything was a small group activity, so there was a lot of interaction with the guides. When there was some complexity in getting to a destination, she arranged for private transport, which greatly reduced effort on our part. There was also a great variety in the types of activities: touring ancient ruins in Rome, lunch at a winery in Tuscany, museums in Florence, cooking class in Florence, mask making in Venice, and a tour of a Murano glass factory.

Our agent put together a trip that far exceeded my expectations. For my first trip to Europe, this was wonderful and I can't recommend our agent and her company enough.

Our trip started out on a negative note with a delayed luggage issue that was not the fault of the tour company, but still caused some stress. Airline delays have made all of our travel this year uncomfortable.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, so we are not young, but are pretty fit and capable for our ages. If I had it to do over, I would have relaxed the pace a bit. That being said, all our drivers and guides were personable, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The tours were interesting, although the ones on Sicily were a little redundant since they were all based on the history of multiple conquerors and cultures.

The schedules were all on time and never rushed.

Our Zicasso agent was great and even called to check on Ruth when she heard she took a fall at Pompeii.

We were a group of four 65-year-old women, college friends, traveling together for a 12-day stay in Italy. Zicasso was an excellent resource for planning and during our stay. They gave us two experienced travel agents who provided intinerarys and quotes. After speaking with both, we chose ours. Our agents really listened to our preferences and set up a seamless trip, complete with hotels, dinner reservations, tours, and transfers. When we wanted to make changes during our travel, we were able to contact the agency and they made it all very easy.

This was our second time using Zicasso. Our first trip was to Greece two years ago. We would highly recommend Zicasso for overseas travel.

Our Zicasso travel planner did an excellent job creating a wonderful itinerary for our trip. All the information we needed was mailed to us in an extensive, detailed packet. This became our Bible as we navigated Istanbul, Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. We had so many moving parts to what we wanted to see and the coordination of over 16 car transfers, four hotels, three flights, and two ferries was perfect. The tour guides in Istanbul and Athens had master’s degrees in history and architecture and added so much to the experience. With private tour guides, we were afforded the opportunity to add some spontaneity to our daily adventures. (My husband is obsessed with European football, so we did a detour to visit the Istanbul stadium.)

The hotels were first rate and made for perfect end-of-the-day unwind locations, with great amenities. In addition, the Mediterranean breakfasts are first rate and afford you the opportunity to skip lunch and plan a dinner on your own. There were contact people in each country to easily access for support.
