The trip itinerary and guides provided in Barcelona, Porto, the Duoro Valley, and Madrid were excellent. They were very knowledgeable, professional and personable, and spoke excellent English.
Most of the drivers were very good, but we were surprised that some of them did not provide bottled water for half-day tours (we had to ask and stop to buy it). This was a minor nuisance, but given the price of tours and previous experiences, a simple expectation, as well as having the car cooled down and AC on during hot days when being picked up.
The tour manager did an outstanding job overall, but could have improved on some specific requests that seemed to be either forgotten or missed regarding an electric scooter/wheelchair we rented that caused some issues during pick-up and drop-off. Otherwise, working with her was a very good experience.

Originally, I planned to organize our month-long trip to mainland Spain. After spending some time with it, I decided to enlist the help of a travel agency. I interviewed three Zicasso travel agencies and asked them to provide a draft itinerary on what to see for our first trip to Spain. We even had to pay $100 to one of the agencies (not this one).
The travel planner at this company provided an itinerary that was far superior to the other agencies. We received a well-thought-out plan to explore Spain. It included travel by plane, trains, and automobiles, and allowed for some free time to explore on our own, as requested.
I also asked for a side trip to France from Barcelona, but the travel planner was the only one who recommended we go to Portugal instead. I hadn’t considered that before, but it turned out to be an excellent choice, especially with regards to its proximity to Spain.
The travel agent organized everything for us. The drivers were on time and personable. All the hotels were four stars and quite nice, and in excellent locations. The recommended sightseeing trips were fantastic and the tour guides were excellent. When traveling, a few questions came up and he was responsive, getting back to us quickly. The travel agency also had a 24-hour number we could call, but we never needed it.
Enlisting the expertise of this travel agency to help plan our trip was probably one of the best things we ever did for ourselves. The travel planner did the hard work and we got to just enjoy ourselves exploring this beautiful country. We highly recommend this travel agency to anyone planning a trip to Spain.
