Sicily for Two: One Week Couple’s Retreat

After a relaxing morning, you will set out on a private tour of the Palermo Cathedral and Palermo Botanical Garden. The preserved columns and colorful paintings of the church will be fascinating sights, and you will feel as though you have stepped back in time. After your visit to the Cathedral concludes, you will visit the Palermo Botanical Garden. Afterward, you will have free time to continue your initial exploration of the city.

After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to Cefalù. The city is located on the northern coast and is known for its stunning backdrops. When you arrive, your guide will lead you to your accommodation where you can have some time to regroup. This afternoon, you will relax on the sand of one of Cefalù’s gorgeous beaches. With cocktails in hand, you can bask in the sunshine and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere.

After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to your final destination of Taormina. The views and landscapes will be beautiful during your ride, and upon arrival, you will be led to your accommodation. Soon after, you will head out for an exciting tour of Sicily’s most famous volcano, Mount Etna. Your guide will lead you up the side of the volcano, and once you are at the top of the crater, the views will be incredible. After your hike, you can enjoy some free time to admire the handmade goods and jewelry made from the volcano’s lava before returning to Taormina.

This morning, you will have a few hours at your leisure before visiting the enchanting area of Isola Bella. Isola Bella is connected to Taormina by a narrow strip of sand. The two of you will enjoy several hours to bask in the sun and to explore this idyllic destination. Isola Bella was named a nature reserve in 1990, and you will feel the peacefulness and serenity as you explore. The beautiful sights of the day will still be on your mind when you return to your hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, you will embark on a trip to the nearby town of Giardini Naxos. Giardini Naxos is a sought after destination because it is considered one of the most beautiful places throughout all of Italy. The two of you will enjoy a memorable afternoon exploring this remarkable destination. From the sweeping views to the high-end shops and fantastic beaches, it will be a luxurious and relaxing afternoon. Once your time in Giardini Naxos comes to an end, you will return to Taormina for the final evening of the trip.

You will have time to enjoy one more morning together in Sicily. You can take a stroll through Taormina’s winding roads after breakfast. Once back at your hotel, a private driver will transfer you to Catania Fontanarossa Airport for your flight home.
