The travel planner of the travel company was a pleasure to work with. My fiance and I interviewed 2 other Greek travel specialists on Zicasso before the planner, and after just a quick phone call with her, we knew she was the one to plan our trip! She is sweet, helpful, knowledgeable about all the different Greek islands, and seemed to instantly understand what we wanted for our honeymoon trip. We were looking for a very zen, restful and romantic trip together, and neither of us had much knowledge of the different islands.She recommended a quick two night stay in Athens at a beautiful and modern hotel right in the thick of the city with a historical private tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis museum, followed by an intimate dinner on the hotel roof bar/restaurant with a fantastic view of the Parthenon in the distance. Next off, she arranged a car to pick us up at our hotel and take us to our ferry ride to the quiet and less-touristy island of Naxos. (In fact, she arranged all of our car and ferry transfers for us, so we didn't have to worry about a thing! All of this went very smoothly.) The hotel in Naxos exceeded our expectations - a beautiful room, two pools, a few different areas to take meals outdoors, perfect location, a quick walk to the beach, and very accommodating staff. Absolutely no complaints! Finally, we headed to Santorini, an unmissable island. Our hotel was situated away from the tourist areas, as the planner knew we preferred, and had an unbelievable panoramic view of the sea. I've never seen anything like it! Here, our planner arranged a van tour and tour guide to take us all around the island to places we were interested in, totally customized to us. Our final treat from the travel planner was a private catamaran tour of the caldera. Again, a luxury van picked us up at our hotel and took us to the port, which was very difficult to navigate. Without the planner, we would literally have been lost!Finally, our travel planner arranged a car to take us to the Santorini airport where our tickets were already waiting and paid for to take us to the Athens airport, where we easily caught our international flight home.
