The trip was wonderful and our Zicasso tour operator was attentive, friendly, and responsive, providing great customer service.

New Zealand and its people were spectacular, as was our trip. We felt well taken care of by Zicasso’s travel agent. He was very responsive to inquiries before and during the trip. Kudos to him for his counsel prior to the trip, advising us to spend time exploring areas like The Catlins. Overall, our expectations were exceeded.

We loved our New Zealand/Australia travel specialist Jo! Our original trip in March 2020 was delayed because of Covid, but Jo kept us updated and then rescheduled our trip. Her suggestions about what to see and do fit in perfectly with what we wanted out of our trip. Taking the trip and all we saw and did was even better than what the terrific itinerary showed. Just a truly awesome trip in every respect!

We had a wonderful time on our trip. It was apparent  the Zicasso trip planner really listened to our interests and style of travel, and planned activities and lodging accordingly. We really appreciated the occasional real-time updates we received from her during the trip, which made us feel she was continuing to oversee our trip. The trip was fabulous! I'm so impressed with the way Zicasso's travel partner structured the trip by having a travel day and then a tour day. That structure really made it more enjoyable. The hotels were fantastic as well. I made one recommendation to our tour operator regarding a pod experience – it needs some guardrails for the senior citizen demographic.

We have just returned from our first two-week visit to Australia. We are a family of four, with kids aged 18 and 16. Considering the size of Australia, the time of the year, and length of the trip, we used Zicasso's travel partner to help plan our perfect trip. Our agent listened to what we were interested in and planned the best trip for us! We spent time in Sydney, Port Douglas, and Uluru. Our domestic flights, accommodations, transfers, tours, and excursions were all planned perfectly and without hiccups. She was available during our trip for any and all last-minute questions and changes. I would highly recommend our travel company and we will be using them again when we check out New Zealand!

Our Zicasso tour operator and her team were top-notch, from our first conversation through the end of our Australia/New Zealand journey. We could not have asked for a better team. They listened intently to our desires for a "bucket-list" trip that favored meeting locals and off-the-beaten-path locations and experiences, rather than typical tourist locations. Based on our early conversations, she delicately guided us away from a few locations that were on our original destination list in favor of deeper experiences (and more time) in other locations. I think others may have simply put together an itinerary with all the destinations the customer listed without regard to weather, the amount of time on planes, and other factors. What we got with this company was more time in key locations where we could immerse ourselves in the local communities and meet the many friendly and special people we encountered.

Lastly, this travel company knows this region deeply. They know the best tour companies and the best people at those companies, creating a truly exceptional experience.

Our March 2024 trip (three weeks) was spectacular, with time in Melbourne, Sydney, and Port Lincoln, as well as Queenstown and Nelson in New Zealand. One of the things the travel company did that made the trip spectacular was this: at each stop, we had a day or two of structured activities and a day or two on our own. That allowed us to get an understanding of the location before we ventured out on our own. I would repeat that on any future trip.

It was our first journey to the region and, over a month later, we are still telling our friends about our special adventures and referring them to this company should they want a truly special experience in Australia and/or New Zealand.

Our travel specialist with the company was truly so helpful and accommodating. She changed the itinerary for us multiple times prior to the trip to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Our travel specialist was available to talk to through email and on the phone which made communication really easy. When we arrived in Auckland, our travel specialist met us at the airport, which I have never had a travel agent do before. She made sure all of our flights had gone smoothly, ensured that our travel plans for the next two weeks were corrects, and spent time talking with us about what to expect in New Zealand. All of our transportation for the two weeks was set up for us which was so nice to not have to worry about while traveling. We were set up in great hotels/apartments through out the stay that were very accommodating.
